How It Started

Gift-giving has always been my love language. Long before this was a business, it was the way I said thank you, congratulations, I'm proud of you and I'm here — and flowers were always the gift I reached for first.

That passion for flowers grew into something more serious: learning how stems behave, how colour sits together, how a wrap should fold rather than gather. I started making bouquets for family and friends, and the requests never really stopped.

Coming from a business-minded family, building something of my own always felt natural. Azhar Jamilah is the result — a small East London studio based near Gants Hill and Ilford, where every bouquet is made to order, by hand, for one person and one moment.
